Key ring sells beer and wins award
for Men’s Health
A key ring mounted on the cover of
Men’s Health magazine helped celebrate the 100th issue and achieved more than a
12 per cent response for sponsor Pure Blonde.
Sands Promotions designed and manufactured the metal bottle opener key ring,
the design included the packaging and backing card which encouraged consumers to
"Get a 6-pack on us".
Readers were invited to present their card at any BWS store, purchase a
6-pack of Pure Blonde and get another six-pack free.
"The campaign directly reached beer consumers and acted as a constant
reminder for the Pure Blonde brand. It provided the perfect opportunity for Pure
Blonde to establish a connection with the target market and to have a strong
presence on the cover of Men’s Health magazine, which resulted in increased
brand awareness and trial of Pure Blonde beer" said Men’s Health Marketing
Manager, Michelle Lasorsa.
The campaign won a
Gold Award at the 8th annual APPA Awards for Promotional Excellence
